Ti sei mai chiesto perché la Domenica non si chiama Soledì? 🌞 Fino al 383 dc effettivamente quel giorno della settimana si chiamava ancora dies Solis, ovvero giorno del sole ☀️ La domenica, intesa come giorno di riposo, nacque qualche anno prima, in 321, con un decreto emesso dall’Imperatore Costantino il Grande. Fino ad allora il giorno di riposo dei cristiani era il sabato, sulla scia dello shabbat ebraico. Dopodiché, in 383, l’imperatore Teodosio I, che aveva già dichiarato il cristianesimo religione ufficiale dell’Impero con l’editto di Tessalonica (in 380), proibì tutti i culti pagani e il giorno del Sole assunse il definitivo nome di giorno del Signore (dies dominica) O, precisely, domenica, divenendo il giorno di festa per eccellenza. Cosa ne pensi? Interessante no? 😉 Buon Soledì 🌞

What do you do in your free time? I play and visit spiritual places 😉Today I went to visit Merigar, in Tuscany near Mount Amiata. The Merigar Tibetan Center, which literally “means residence of the mountain of fire”, was born under the inspiration and guidance of Rinpoche Chögyal Namkhai Norbu as a place where people can meet, receive teachings, study and apply them. The Temple of the Great Contemplation was inaugurated in the presence of the Dalai Lama. The personal experience I felt was one of enormous peace, serenity and calm. Walk in these places, around the temple, in the surrounding nature and playing the handpan here was a source of enormous inspiration✨ ...and have you ever visited this place?
