Ensō is a project that combines music, visual art and writing in a single participatory experience.
Inspired by the circle of Zen painting - symbol of emptiness, presence and creativity - this work was born as a space to be experienced, not just to listen to.
It's not a simple album.
It's an art book with music, where each element has a role: the songs accompany, paintings open images, words guide, the silence completes.
All’interno del libro che stringi tra le mani trovi pagine da osservare e altre da usare. Some invite you to stop, others to write or draw. You are not just a spectator: you participate.
The musical part is divided into three sides:
“Heart Songs” (The circle is formed): 1-5 songs sung among folk, soft rock e ambient. Languages intertwine (Italian, English, Spanish, French and Sanskrit).
“Handpan Colors” (The circle takes color): 6-9 instrumental tracks, essential and meditative, pensate per rallentare e accompagnare uno spazio più interiore.
“Inner Reflections” (The circle empties): 10-11-12 Acoustic versions of the songs sung and stripped, only voice and instrument, only the essential remains.
